One of my professors early on in journalism school said there was only one way to suceed as a journalist: read, read, read. So I did, and I do. In fact, I read so many blogs, I can’t read all of them. I do, however, take special interest in the smaller ones like mine: people who don’t get free loot all the time, people whose stories are like mine, people who love the same things I do: travel, Spain, photography and laughing at themselves. So like them, send them some blog love and link them to your own.

Thanks for this post. This is my first time in Spain (working as an auxiliar near Almeria) and have been enjoying reading blogs. I just stumbled upon yours through expat blog, though I realize you frequently comment and are good friends with Lauren on spanishsabores!
Sometimes I feel silly on how much I read blogs but they are such a great resource!
